I have the following home LAN

BBand==> BBand Modem ==> Linksys BBand Router
|| ||
|| |+ ==> Domain Server (2K)
|+ ==> Workgroup PC (2K)
Domain Server has 2 NICs
NIC#1 is connected to BBand Router
NIC#2 (DC) is not connected at this time

Both Server & PC are drawing good IPs from the router.
Both Server & PC can ping each other by IP & name
Both Server & PC have 1.1 default gateway

Server (user) logs in on domain account, PC is null pw into workgroup.

Both PC & Server are set for Netbois over TCP/IP and set to share files/printers. LMHOSTS lookup is disabled on both. Searching the entire network from the PC only shows the workgroup, searching the entire network from the Server shows the domain and workgroup ... but no PC (or Servers) can be found.

I would like to:
1) Share printer connected to server w/PC or connected to PC w/server
2) Share printer connected to either w/(3rd PC) WinXP that authenicates with work domain
3) Share other resources as available

I have other users that have work laptops that want to share resources on their home network too, so this type of situation is also an issue for my outside users.

I've seen several posting on Tek-Tips and other forums but nothing appears to point me in a direction that helps. Any guideance would be appreciated.

. On the server, local security policy:
Set user authentication to: Members authenticate as Guests
Disable the policy for restricting blank passwords to the local console.

. In the Address bar of Network Places/Neighborhood, (or Start, Run) type: \\Domain_Server_name

. Or directly, do a Net Use for mapped drives

. Use the Printer and Fax Wizard to map printers

. Make the Workgroup name identical to the Domain Name
