Ok - here is what i want to do...and i know it has to be possible -

I have a network with 2 types of users:

1. Domain users
2. "temp" users who do not access the domain - they only use the network for internet.

Currently I have a Windows 98 (NOT ON DOMAIN) with File Sharing as the "I drive" on EVERYONE'S COMPUTER - I WILL BE CHANGING THAT OUT WITH: Windows SBS 2003 that will be used as a File Sharing server ONLY. It will NOT be on the domain.

I want ALL the users to have access to the share ("I driver" and same computer name as win98 cpu) but I do not want to have to go to each computer and mess w/ settings. I want it to look like the change never happened....

HOW??? Right now it is asking me for username/pwd anytime i access it - domain or not...

TIA

Give "anonymous login" rights to the share?

Not the most secure solution but can't think of anything else off top of my head at present.

If share is set for everyone it will still assume you have a local account on the server which is why it is asking for name and passord.
