I have a small home network of 3 machines and want to use one as a back up server. Can anyone advise me on how to share my outlook pst file across the network so that I can access my emails from any machine. I am running XP Pro and Office Pro 2003

Thanks

Robert

I'd save the pst onto the backup server, making sure you can access the server from the 3 workstations you will be using. then add the st into outlook as you would if it was local.
The only problem you'll fine is that if it's open more than once, only the first "version" will have read-write access.
ie, if it's open on one pc, and you open it on another, it'll open as read-only.

Thanks Paul.
I had hoped this was possible as I didn't want the hassle of installing an email server.
Regards
Robert
