This has been driving me nuts for days now. We just finished migrating from Groupwise to Exchange 2003. Things went well, but several of our users need to share address lists they had made in Groupwise. I go through the usual steps of assigning the permissions in each books properties, but no one can connect to them. If I share the "contacts" folder, then I can connect. I'd hate to think that's the only address book folder that can be shared... Has anyone found a way around this other than making new lists as public folders?

Thanks

Have you tried getting people to select all of their contacts and copying them into a new public address book? Maybe in Public Folders?

Just an idea as I have never worked with Groupwise.

Hi,
Just a quick thought...You can export Contacts to an Excel file and each user could import it to their own Contacts folders.
HTH,

Best,
