I have a perspective client who has 4 MSDOS PCs (no harddrive) with 2 HPLaserJet 8000s hooked up to each. He currently uses SneakerNet. His question to me is can he network the MSDOS PCs and avoid the costs of a jet direct card for each printer? Any ideas? I am quoting him a linux firewall/NAT/Samba server for his six Windows PCs and one Mac.
