I have exchange server 2003 and whenever someone is away another user checks their emails. At the moment i setup mail forwarding to the other user.

Is there a way for the user to share their mailbox so that the other user can view the mailbox within outlook without having the emails forward.

I have looked at outlook delegates and mailbox sharing but am unsure as to the correct one to use and what the differences are.

Thank you in advance for any contributions

UserA shares the Inbox to UserB. UserB does File, Open, Other User's Folder. Key in UserA and select Inbox.

That allows read of emails but reply as self.
