Hi,

I'd like to be able to share the connection setup on the Mac with an Win XP PC. It's a USB modem, I've setup static IPs on both machines and set the XP DNS and Gateways to point at the mac. Both machines ping each other ok, but I can't ping to the outside world from the Windows PC. I've enabled internet sharing on the mac.

Any thoughts?

many thanks

I've now managed to get it working, except everytime the Mac is restarted internet sharing is turned off.

I've set it to lock the settings but after a restart the internet sharing option is set to off, and settings are no longer locked. Is this normal behaviour?

any help appreciated

and I was just expecting it to be a tick box or something.

Thanks for that, worked great.
