Sharing Domain Resourse through VPN !!HELP!!

Here is the situation, have a VPN server (windows 2000 adv) using it as a member server for the VPN clients. Clients connect to VPN fine, but cannot access resources on the domain which the member server is a part of. Trust relationship with the domain controller and the member server have been implemented, but still nothing. If I try to search for a computer on the domain, nothing. All clients have accounts (which are the same) on both the member server and domain. Even tried mapping domain resource directories to the member server, but there is a question mark on the link from a clients machine, which of course will not connect. Anyone have any answers? How does someone access domain resources once connected to the VPN.

Are you able to see the other side, besides the VPN server? Have you verified that you receive an IP for your network?
