I have recently got windows ME and would like to share an Internet connection between all my PC'S at home. I know you can share dial up connections but whether this is possible with windows 95 and 98 machines as clients I dont know [sig][/sig]

Well if you already got them networked together, you can use ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) from WinME, I know Win98SE also has ICS with it, if that doesnt work download a free Proxy server from tucows.com I used to use anoproxy which allowed basic on all the networked machines. I also tried Wingate 4 which allowed all kind of Internet app transparently shared thru the hosting machine. Windows me will allow you to generate a ICS disk for use on other computers using win 3.1, win 95 or win 98. Works quite well too. [sig][/sig]
