Sharing Data between multiple servers

Strange question and maybe someone out there knows the answer ...

Is there a way to use a system to write data on a filesystem, then allow many servers to acces the data in read-only mode ? Other than slow NFS.

This is for a SAN environment using FAST900 storage and AIX52

Thanks.
 
You also could invest in concurrent filesystems. I'm not sure how much it costs though.
