Hello and thanks for any help!
What im trying to do is be able to have 2 bartenders at the same bar, in the same employee class, be able to see each others tabs and ringup items on them no matter which of the 2 is logged in. But not be able to see servers and other job codes employees tables and tabs.

Is this possible in micros 3700?

Typically you make a "Bar Card" for each shift and swipe all the bar terminals on that card. All the bartenders on that shift then share the terminals and can pick up any tabs started by the other bartenders.

hmmm thanks Wildbar! Not sure i understand how to make a bar card... i do have micros cards... could you maybe explain it a little more..
Thanks again for your help!

We make an "Employee Class" called "Bars" that doesnt clock in or out, uses fast bar screens, and fast transactions, and always stays logged in on a terminal, among other things and at the privlege levels you need for controls.
Then we make a employee, (call it day bar or something) and assign it a card and to the "Bars" employee class.
That is the card you will swipe that card on the terminals.....works for us.

Wildbar's method is basically making generic bartender employees. That works out well, just make sure you assign your cashier totals by workstation rather than employee so there's some kind of accountability.

hmmm ok ... i think i kind of get it.. What i am curious about is how to make the 2 bartenders using this made up employees login claim all the cc tips and show the sales i guess evenly between the 2 bartenders? I think that is maybe what you are saying pmegan?

If you wantthe sales and tips seperate they will need to use there own cards. Our system works for 10 bartenders on a shift, coming and going, using 6 terminals and selling $10 - $20k a shift. The tips are tipped pooled betweeen the bartenders based on the hours worked. Sales they are just based on team performance.

Right. This will only work if you're pooling tips. If your bartenders are each using their own tills you can assign the cashier totals to the drawer or workstation and get sales/tips from the cashier reports. The only other way to see just other bartender's checks would be going back to 2 RVC's, Dining and Bar. This turns into a pain if the bartenders are closing out server cash checks though.
