Ok I have a person who converted from ccMail to Lotus R5. They converted their Address book to. This gave them a file that they can put on their computer. In the converted address book were groups made. Large ones. Now that the company has expanded that department, we would like to make those groups avaliable to the rest of the company. Is there a way to do this without retyping everything?

Can you not copy-paste that group document to whereever you want it? ----------------------------------------
Power up your Notes/Domino if you know how to use it!
Q1: what is power?
Q2: what is up?
Q3: what is Notes/Domino? *&%$#@

I guess I could copy the converted ccMail address book to another computer and have them link to it. I was hopintg there was a way to make it part of the company address book of Groups.

By default, the user cannot replicate to the server. This is controlled in the SERVER document in the server's address book, in the SECURITY tab. Temporarily change this to allow the user to create replica databases. then create a replica of his address book on the server. MAKE SURE TO NAME IT SOMETHING OTHER THAN NAMES.NSF!! Once it is replicated, and you have set up regular replications and proper access control, make sure to revoke his privilege to create replica databases. The danger of course is that some user might accidentally overwrite the server's names.nsf.
Anyway, even with the privilege revoked, the database will now exist on the server, and can be accessed by anyone who is the ACL list.
