I had a complete windows 98 peer to peer netowrk running fine, sharing access 2000 between 5 computers. When upgrading a computer we decided to go with win2000 on the machine that hosts theinternet access. We have since found out that in a mixed network the win2000 computer must be the access server. Unfortunately after doing so, the win2000 computer will run the database locally or the win98 machines can access the database but they will not run together. I have updated ODBC and MS jet and still no solution. Any ideas? Btw the error kinda looks like it might be linked to the linked table manager because it seems to time out there and then give a cannot find path error on the remote workstations. I have reconnected all the paths several times just in case. Any help will be appreciated.
