I have one project that I would like multiple users to access and work on. I just don't want them to work on the same form / report.

I've tried "sharing", but the only thing I can gather from it is what what files do I want to share with my current project.

Will I need to do "branching" as well? I want the changes that one user makes affect the forms / reports for all the users working on the same project.

If I'm thinking along the right lines, then you don't need "sharing" nor "branching".

You have your project, which will contain numerous files. Provided the SourceSafe Users list includes all the people that you want to be able to work on the project, then that will be enough to "share" it, in your sense of the word. When people work on a form / report, then they check it out, so that prevents others from working on it.

I hope I've got the right end of the stick from your initial post - apologies if not.
