I have 2 IIS servers. I need to share a folder located on server 1, but using the website on server 2.

If I try to "share as a web folder" on the properties tab on that folder, the only choice is server 1's default web site. If I select the default web site on server 1, it works great - I can read & write to the folder. Unfortunately, server 1 is not an option for the site.
If I create it manually as a virtual directory on server 2, I cannot write to the folder, although I can read it. I did create it as a wedav folder, with appropriate permissions, but I can't write to it. Any suggestions?
