Hi there.
I am having issues with sharing a folder created by a user in their user account.

The folder can be right clicked and permissions can be given, but the other user can not find how to access this folder.

Using file - open - other user's folder
does only display the standard folders and not the user created folders.

How to fix this?

Are you running Exchange? If not, you'll need 3rd party software. Outlook 2000 has a feature called Net folders that you can use to share data, but it replicates via e-mail, and it is extremely unreliable.

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.

Yes, I am running exchange 2003.
Does this also require the use of these 'net folders'?

Cheers

You cant that way - it's crap I know.
But you can add the mailbox via Tools->email accounts->change->advanced->add mailboxes.
First you need to add "Folder Visible" permission for the top-level folder, and add the proper permissions to the folders you want to share.

Have you tried the help ;)

Nicepark,
you must be kidding me. What a stupidity!

Well it confirms what I was dreading to read.

Thanks very much.
