We have set up a shared calendar for our boardroom where everyone has author permission to book meetings, etc. However, once it has been booked for say 1400hrs, I don't want anybody to be able to overwrite this booking. Does anybody do a similar thing and if so how in Outlook 2000??

Many Thanks

You have to modify your rights. You can flag that only the owner can delete his or her own entry. [sub]If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

If you manage Exchange Server for the companies email then look into “Resources”.
You can create resources for conference rooms, video equipment loaner laptops etc. that users can book a time-slot for use. A new user trying to book the same time will get a reply back that that time is reserved already. It’s free and built into Exchange.

Works great....

Is it possible to receive reminders for the resources setup on Exchange?

Not on public folders, unless you do some low level scripting with event sinks.
