All-

We have a decent sized Web presence in our DMZ using Sharepoint with it's own AD environment. Our developers would like to place this into production and i'm currently researching various encryption (PKI) methods, either thru reseVerisign, Network Solutions, GeoTrust.

Does anyone here recommend which might be the most cost effective yet performs well? I know Verisign is costly but is it worth it compared to either Geotrust and/or Network Solutions, do they provide similar SSL (website encryption) options?

Thanks for any support

Hello,

I think that you can go with other than Verisign. Just check the encryption level and compare the prices! Basically what you get is a SSL certificate with encryption, so although Verisign is a very known certificate I would think you can go with others without problems.

We are currently using verisign for our extranet solution, but we are looking into other vendors, due to the pricing of Verisign.

Regards,
Thomas
