Im running a test environment sharepoint services at the moment. Im just moving onto a stage of setting more users and group permissions. My questions are:
1). Is there a fast way to copy the users from Active Directory to Sharepoint? (n.b. as said above im using the services not the portal if this makes any difference).
2). Is there a fast tool to setting permissions? I came across a tool called "Sharepoint Site Permissions Manager" (this is a product to purchase, can get a demo). I was wondering if there was something similar available for Sharepoint Services.
Any links to white papers or downloads would be much appriciated.
