The Problem: When I was showing a user how to use the Sharepoint site,
the site kept prompting her for a password every time she went to
another site. She owns a mac computer suggesting that this may be the
stem of the problem because I have never tested all this Sharepoint
stuff on a mac before.
Specifics: The site prompts her for a password when she clicks to the
individual folders on one site, asks for a password when going to
another site, but not going back or by clicking "up to **" on the
top right.
Test preformed: I did two tests to make sure it wasn't a common
problem (and possibly ensure that it was a mac problem)
1. I used my personal computer from home (PC), and logged on. My
results were that I only had to log on once, and the screen never
popped up again.
2. I VPNed in using my work laptop. Same results as #1.
My Conclusion: Looks to me like a mac problem, or maybe something else
I am not sure of. Whatever it is, I have never seen it before on any
PC I have logged in to the Sharepoint Site with.
anyone have any ideas? Thanks again!
