Dear All

When I go to Site Actions > Site Settings > Navigation in any of the sites in SharePoint, I'm prompted for a username and password like 6 or 7 times. I've worked out that it is prompting me for a username and password for every image used on the page. These are not my images, but out-of-the-box SharePoint images.

If I click cancel to each login box, I eventually get to see the page, but the images are missing (see attached screenshot - please note the missing images).

The only place this doesn't happen is my top level site - there all the images display fine.

I'd be really grateful if anyone can help me try and fix this.

Many thanks
Daniel

I had this problem but it was because i was using an image from another folder not the default location and the users did not have permissions to use the folder, i moved the image to the default location and all was fine. I don't think that is the case here only because they are Sharepoint images. might pay to have a look to see if they are at the default location. c:\program files\common files\Microsoft shared\web server extensions\12\template\images.

Regards
Max
