Hi all. My boss decided we need an intranet, and I have this beta version of SharePoint 2.0 so I thought I would give it a try.
I installed all the necessary components, they are all up and running.
When the SPPS install finished, my browser popped open with a configuration window.
The first choice was database connections- choose an existing connection, create a new one or disconnect from one.
The second choice is the name of the server and the third one is the name of the DB, either accept the default or choose a custom name.
No matter how I configure it, I get a "Invalid configuration Database State. (Offline)" error.
The default website, SMTP, IIS are all running. I have stopped and restarted the services. The SQL server is running, I have stopped and restarted it as well.
I know, I am probably missing something simple.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Corie
