Hi. I am the admin for part of a Corporate SP site. means I have not all rights on the SP installation, I'd say the contrary !
I would like to "develop" something for my users though.
We have an internal help desk to which users should send a mail asking to open a tkt in a special system, outside SP.
I'd like to prepare a form in infopath (or else) that allows the user to input some information, attach a file and then send a mail to some specific account. I don't need any DB or else, just a simple, plain mail with information coming from the infopath (or else) form and the attachment. I created the form in infopath, published it, but i cannot attach anything to it. I cannot create (this is the help i need) a custom VBA code to be attached to a button in the infopath form so that an email is built and then the user can attach whatever he/she wants in a standard Outlook way... any clue ?

Thanks a lot..I hope i was clear.. all versions are 2007.

you will probably have the most success creating a custom workflow. you may be able to accomplish this using SharePoint Designer. I have done similar work in creating custom workflows using Visual Studio, so that is also an option. I would start with google and search on SharePoint workflow email to see what comes up.
