Hi All

Does anyone know how I can group a list of names under each letter of the alphabet. So my list will display with the 26 letters of the alphabet and when I expand the A folder, all names starting with A are displayed.

A - A1, A2, A3

B - B1, B2, B3
C - C1, C2, C3

etc..
Many thanks Tee.

create a calculated column in your list =LEFT([columnname]).
That should give you the first letter of each item. Then just group by that column in the view and you should have what you need.

Hey thanks for that. I will try it now.
Tee.

sorry - that formula should be =LEFT([columnname],1)
