Sharepoint, from setting up to using

I have been given the task of learning about Sharepoint services.

I have a desktop set up with Windows 2003 Server, I got the updates, IIS components, SQL Server Desktop Engine 2000A, and I am not sure about how to configure everything. I feel quite lost. Is there a good resource that someone can point me to for configuring this whole thing, and getting started?

Any help is appreciated.

Aside from here, check out the newsgroups, MS and others such as
microsoft.public.sharepoint.windowsservices
If you haven't used newsgroups yet, try Google > groups
