I am writing some asp.net tools to manipulate documents in our sharepoint site but I get an authorisation error as you might expect. Some of the documents are restricted to certain groups and this would need to be enforced by the tools. can anyone suggest how I can maintain security (ie user only has access to documents that they have read privileges over but not unnecessarily restrict users access? The scripts are maintained in a folder within the sharepoint site that has been "excluded" from sharepoint management
