Sharepoint and Perl

I have just finished a Perl class and wondering if there is a way to use it in Sharepoint. I was thinking about making a few simple forms for people to fill out and then do some simple calculations.

Will sharepoint and Perl play nice together? Would I just need to get my corporate folks to add Perl to the Sharepoint server and then put my code in one of the shared documents folder?
