Does the latest version of SharePoint integrate nicely with ASP.NET 2.0 (or vice versa if that's the way it works)?

Apparently the answer is "yes" after a service pack?

Asp.Net 2.0 causes unghosting if you have any pages that you use Frontpage 2003 to edit. If you have any customization done on the page using 3rd party software it'll produce a "maintenance error.. please contact administrator".

ASP.NET 2.0 is also the requirement for runnig the next version of SharePoint (MOSS 2007)
