Hello,

I am running sharepoint services on 2003. I have a site set up and running, but recently it started dissalowing some administrative changes. The big one is, if you try to create a new Docyument library, it iasks for all the information, then when you click create, it asks for a username and password. It will not accept the username and password and drops you to the access request form. Any ideas?

You could try sending the access request to yourself and then granting access through that.

Sorry, Should havesaid I tried that, auth goes through etc. It still fails at the same place.

Hello,

The user you are trying to create this document library as, is it a user with Administrator rights? Have you created your own sitegroups with specific permissions?

Have you changed any permissions lately? Try and figure out what has changed since it stopped working.

Do you have anonymous access or anything like that turned on in the site?

Regards,
Thomas

The user is in the admin group, their is no annon access to the site. I am not sure what changed, I have been trying to figure it out.

Thanks,
