Hi All
Have been given this task for my sins.

Have a customer who has 2 windows 2000 servers on different sites, built by different suppilers, but given the same domain name with different machine names. Both are AD but have not exchanged information due to no link between the sites.
Now they want to link them via a VPN across the Internet.
Am i right in thinking that one of the machines will have to have dcpromo run on it demote it back to a member server then dcpromo it to exchange information with the other one over the link once in place.

Or is there another way to share information between the two servers in thier present makeup..

Thankyou in advanced for any help.
