Hi All, I'm probably missing something simple here...

My report has a column

Product Trend Maximum Values

Product trend is a sub report for reasons I won't bore you with. Maximum values is a formula using data in product trend.

I have created a shared variable called Total in the subreport which simply stores the value.

I've created another formula in the main report called Total.

When I place this formula on the report my data is not in alignment. E.g. see example below;

Product Trend Total Maximum Values

1417 1393
1281 1417
2119 1281
2137 2119

As you can see the total column (which should match product trend) is one row further down.

Any ideas?

You need to either display the subreport directly in the maximum value column or place the sub in a section (e.g., GH_a) above the one containing the displayed data, and then share the value down to the next section, e.g., GH_b. If you want the sub to disappear, format all sections within the sub to suppress, format the subreport itself to "suppress blank subreport" in the subreport tab of the main report and also go into the main report section expert and check "suppress blank section".
