Hi there ,!)
Got a problem with a shared table : this one is seen by one application that show the content of the table into a browse window (child of another screen) and is also used by another application which used the table to populate arrays.

When the 1st application is down, the 2nd one is opening his main screen in 5 sec (setup is populating arrays).

When the 1st is open (browse window visible), the 2nd one takes nearly 2 minutes (!!!) to open...
The refresh parameter is set to default (0)...

I really don't understand how to improve it...
Thanks for any help !)

Yak,
Is your data file server Win2000? If yes, then this is a known (observed) behavior. (Try a Keyword Search on "slow" in both this and the VFP forum, and you find many threads discussing this.) It's been suggested that SP3 has made this a bit more tolerable, but it has to due with the Acitve Directory implementation in W2K. The larger and slower your network is, the worse this seems to get.
