I have several shared mailboxes that several people are associated with, So for example, a user opens the shared mailbox in Outlook 2007 along with one or two other shared mailboxes defined in the profile. This works fine and the user is able to view all mail and folders for those mailboxes. The problem arises when they send a new message or reply to a message that the message sent only goes to the "primary" shared mailbox sent folder that was used to setup the profile and no choice for the other additional shared mailboxes specified to open in that profile.

So is there any way to address this from within the Outlook client?

I know I can create multiple profiles and/or different OWA links if I chose to do this through OWA instead, but I would hate to go that route.

Thanks.

Well crud. Not the answer that I was hoping for, but I guess I'll have to deal.

Thanks Pat.

In Options for the email, you can choose to save the sent item into a folder that isn't the default.

Another option would be to use a rule for "Emails FROM someone to be moved to a different folder". Would be client side but would work.
