shared GAL between two forests

I have set up two AD domains in two countries (.co.uk & .sk)- win2k Ex2k.
Due to lack of training / ignorance I made them in two forests.
We have a VPN between the two domains.
I understand that I can't make a single exchange organisation because of this, but have been told I can setup some sort of SMTP link / InterOrg Connector between the two exchange servers to share the address lists.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where I start?
