Hi

I recently called the CAI helpdesk to ask if it is possible to backup files and folders to a NAS (Network Attached Storage, a disk attached to a network) with ArcServ2000. According to them, it is possible with this application to backup to a mapped network drive, which would solve my problem.

However, I looked around in the Arcserve settings (I'm new to the program) and didn't find anything to add the network drives to the media pools. Our company already bought the Image Option, which according to our vendor would satisfy our demand, but still I don't find a way to use the NAS as target for a backup. Does anyone know how to use mapped network folders to backup to?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Tim
