Office files (Excel, Word, Access) and AutoCad LT files are staying locked after they have been closed by the user who opened them.
If you look at the 'Open Files' folder within the Computer Management of the server that the files are stored on, it will say that <file X> is still in use by <user Y>. Closing the open file from Computer Management works, but it is not a solution as you should not have to access the server just to free up a file for usage.
We recently replaced all computers on the network with new XP machines, and that is when the problems started to occur. The server is Win2k server, and was in use (without problems) before the new computers were in service.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
