There is a template that needs to be replaced. It's in a share where Everyone has Full Control. It won't let me rename or delete the file to restore it from backup. If I try to delete or rename it, it says "Access denied. File is protected or in use."
I've sent a message out to users to exit Word and I don't think anyone has it open since I cannot see a .tmp file in the folder for that template. You know how it makes a copy of the file that's in use and it puts the squiggly "~" in front of the name? Well, none of that.
Is there a way to see who has the file open? Or, is there a way to delete it for good?
The backup program wont restore on top of a file in use.
