I have a shared currency variable that I'm using in my report. It returns the correct value, along with the $ sign. However, it will not let me format the field for a fixed symbol. I can't figure out why! Any ideas?

I have just created a shared currencyvar and it allows me to toggle from fixed to floating

I tested this in CR10 also, and had no trouble with changing from floating to fixed. What does the formula look like that sets up the shared variable value?

Worked for me too, but I'd be interested to know if it behaves differently if you embed that formula into another formula, just to shock CR into cooperating.
