Share problems after NT4 & 2000 Trust 1

Hi,

We recently trusted DomainNT4 (NT4) and Domain2k (2000). The permissions are working fine when a user from DomainNT4 connects to a share on Domain2k. But when a user from Domain2k connects to a share on DomainNT4, I get this error "Logon Failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer". The proper permissions were given but still no luck. Any ideas?

Keep in mind when DomainNT4 added me as a Domain Admin I was able to access every share on their domain. Is there a specific security group from Domain2k that needs to have access on DomainNT4?

they need to be granted rights, just like any ther group of users.....

has this been done?
you can access as admin, which means the trust works.


Setup a global security group in 2K domain:
"2KUsers"
and make it a member of a NT4 security group on the NT domain
add the NT sec group to the ACL of some folders and see if it works.....

Ok I found out the problem. The Server had a local security policy set in place.
