My Windows NT 4.0 print server has been flakey of late, "crashing" randomly so that a manual reboot is the only solution. Can I host one of the printers (HP LaserJet 2100TN) that is already hosted on the server via TCP/IP port on a Windows 2000 machine instead and share it with two other workstations (one 2K and one NT 4.0)? Basically, if the print server fails, I need these three workstations to be able to print to the 2100 in some alternate way. Can I load the drivers on one of the workstations and make this possible? Am I making sense? Any help would be appreciated.
