share point installation failes

[04/13/04,17:20:34] SharePoint Portal Server: [2] CVAIComponent, Error 0x80070426: VAIFy failed
[04/13/04,17:20:34] SharePoint Portal Server: [0] CVAIComponent::Install, Error setting up VAI.


I got this error in error.log file after installation of SPS! I installed it more than 20 times in last 2 days and all failed! i tries MS solution about MDAC installation and setting services to manual ....but did not help.
I got 10002 error in event viewr too.

any help? getting mad, can not tollerate hearing name of Sharepoint any more!
