Recently, our organizations intranet turned to sharepoint 2010. Since then, some users have reported that the tab drop-down menus are not populating. One of our tech's discovered that it's due to a "corrupt" java that exists only after a Microsoft software install (KBs, Office, etc.). This issue can be remedied by running the Microsoft Office Diagnostic tool despite the diagnostic results.
Has anyone else run into this on sharepoint? Is there a way to run MSOD in cmdline? Is there another resolution beside running MSOD?
I realize this thread mentions non-sharepoint applications (and thus may be subject to move to another forum), however, this issue ONLY appears in sharepoint (from what we've observed so far).
