My small network using Win2000 Server and WinXp as a clients. I'm using DHCP server to distribute all of the IP addresses. One of the client have an Internet connection using dial up modem. now i want the rest of the PC on the network can access to the Internet through that PC with dial up modem. I'm trying to Enable Internet Conection Sharing but the manual said that i should not use this feature in an existing network with Windows 2000 Server domain controllers, DNS servers, gateways, DHCP servers, or systems configured for static IP addresses.
Should i used any third party software such as WinRoute Firewall rather than using Internet Conection Sharing?

internet connection sharing is already in xp. you can create a shared connection using network connection wizard. one machine is the server (the one that dials up the isp), and the others are clients. the server should have "this computer connects to internet using dial up" option or something like that. the server, shoul have "never dial a connection" checked in internet connection option, and "this computer connects to another computer to connect to internet" option.
