Does anyone know if it's possible to use /share the disks on a PC running Linux or perhaps Win2K running NTFS from an AIX box. I know that it is possible for the other way around (using AIX disks from Windows etc. using Samba). The idea would be to utilize the cheaper PC disk drives and let our AIX applications use the data from those disks.

Thanks
Norm

Why you do not use simple NFS to solve this problem. If you are satisfied with samba the other way, NFS does the trick on Linux for AIX
