I am using RASPPPOE on a Windows 2000 Server and have been successfully sharing the internet to my home LAN for two years. Had to replace the LAN NIC in the server yesterday and now I can't remember how to share the connection. When I click the Enable Internet Connection Sharing on the dial-up connection RASPPPoE creates, I get "Error 783" (Cannot enable shared access) - it says the LAN connection is not present, but it IS and the computers can see each other. What have I forgotten? Y. Doky - "Manager" of Systems
