I am the domain Admin and I have another machine beside the PDC and when I am logging to the PDC and I want to see the other machine I cant see the shared Drives admin share drives C$ ,D$ can any one tell me why please thanks in advance

Dear Italy,

By default the admin shares of all drives are hidden. You cannot see them. But you can connect to them as admin and map them as local drives.

If you wish to use the other machines C$ and D$ shares open the Network N'hood icon, go to that machine and you will see all the shared drives, except the C$ and D$. Now, in the address bar of the Explorer put "\C$" and "\D$" without quotes, after the machine name, for C and D drive of the machine respectively.

And there's another way. Use "Run" command and enter "\\machine_name\c$" "\\machine_name\d$" without qoutes, obviously.

Try these tips and if you are still unable to connect to the admin shares, we'll dig deeper.

But I just have a feeling that it will do.
