share an external usb drive on LAN ??

I'm trying to share an external USB drive over a LAN.

Personal File Sharing is turned on, but I cannot see the volume from other Macs on the network.

I use Go, Connect to server, and enter the IP address of the G4 with the external drive and I only see the main volume of the system and not the external drive.
