shape tween like a motion tween, using guide layer

HI folks it seems as though i'm here again.
Hopefully this time it's a quicky.
How if possible, can i make a shape tween behave and follow a set path (like using a guide layer)while morhping/tweening?

So far it seems as each time i try it always goes in a straight line from a to b and in this case that's not what i'm after.

seems to work ok for me... just make your shape tween then give it a guide layer with where you want it to go... make sure the shape is "locked" on the start and end of the guide at its key frames....
