Whenever I put an AVI clip into a compostition in AE, i notice that the footage in the composition window shakes up and down at a small pixel range. I zoomed up to the footage and made a render preview. The clip shifts up and down through the whole duration. I "numbered" the frames and the frame shifts one pixel up and one pixel down at every 3 frames. Im not talking about the actual clip dimensions, its just that when the clip is in the composition, and its playing, it goes up and down in a constant rate.

This hasent happened before, and I dont know why its happening now. However I can go to the project window and preivew the footage fine from there. Theres no shaking. It seems this happens only with AVIs and the shaking gets written in if i export the movie. So that means the shaking is recorded.

I dont know what to do, should I reinstall? Get another AVI codec for windows or somthing? Im using AE v6.0, I have a p4 1.8, 256 rd ram, 186 HD on Windows XP. Would anybody be willing to get a small clip in their mail to see what Im talking about? Any help is welcome.
