shadows copy

I have a machine and it looks like shadow copy made a complete duplicate of the drive. In system protection I have 2 things listed for the C: drive. I tried to turn of protection and delete the files but it did not free up any additional space. From what I see it is using like 30+gigs.
I also ran the cleanup.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

What model and make of machine are you using? Have you tried contacting the manufacturer's Support site in case it is a known issue?
